The promotion of gender identity in schools is systemic and requires a systemic response
The governmental and institutional reaction to ideological teaching and policy failures in school, including breaches of safeguarding practice, is unacceptable
There is widespread failure to acknowledge the scale of the problem and no apparent accountability or appetite for addressing it
In response to these problems we:
– Advocate for monitoring and regulation of external providers of content for PSHE and RSE (and of teacher training and governor training)
– Write to key political representatives involved in education (Ministers, Shadow Ministers, spokespeople, Lords, Select Committees, Local Authority officers, Councillors, Academy Trusts, Ofsted)
– Lobby organisations tasked with regulating, scrutinising and safeguarding education and equalities: Department for Education, Ofsted, Ofqual, EHRC
– Coordinate and work with with other organisations and campaigns
